Terms of Service
These terms apply to Steward, a private personal assistant run by Evan Williams for his own household. By signing in with your Google account you agree to them.
Who can use it
Steward is not offered to the public. Only Evan Williams and members of his household, invited by him, may use it.
What it does
Steward reads your Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Drive and acts on them at your request, as described in the Privacy Policy. Messages it sends and changes it makes for you go through an approval step.
Your responsibilities
- Review what Steward drafts before you approve it. You are responsible for messages sent and changes made with your approval.
- Use it only with accounts you own or are allowed to use.
No warranty
Steward is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. AI-generated summaries and drafts can be wrong; check anything important. To the extent the law allows, Evan Williams is not liable for any loss arising from its use.
Ending access
You can stop using Steward at any time by disconnecting your account or revoking its access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Access can be removed at any time.
Changes
These terms may be updated; the date above shows the latest version.
